Excellence in Sisterhood and Service

Welcome to the website of the Pi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated! Our chapter prides itself on excellence in sisterhood and service! Our membership is a diverse and beautiful group of women representing a wide range of backgrounds, accomplishments, careers, talents, resources, expertise and interests.  As a result, we benefit from a multi-generational array of Alpha Kappa Alpha women including recent college graduates, sisters on the fast career track, those on the pinnacle of careers as well as retirees.  Pi Alpha Omega Sorors are multi-dimensional, single, married, mothers, godmothers/goddaughters, aunts/ nieces, granddaughters and grandmothers all working together to make a positive difference in the community we serve.

As a chapter, we are a dynamic and progressive group of women with a distinctive flair.  Although we love our pink and green, we cherish the richness of our sisterhood and our amazing, storied 110-year history. Most importantly, we dedicate our time, talents and resources to provide impactful community service programs throughout metro Atlanta.  Our current mantra -- Launching New Dimensions of Service – establishes our focus, which is to improve and enhance the lives of women, children and families through Educational Enrichment, Health Promotion, Family Strengthening, Environmental Ownership and Global Impact. Pi Alpha Omega chapter is steadfastly committed to the purpose of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated that was established in 1908, “Service to All Mankind”.
